Wish we had caught up... I ran out of time on my tracphone grrr..
It was truly a wondeful time and I was so encouraged, inspired and thankful for the sincere desire to share Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and the yearning for true revival so evident in all the SBC guys..

It was good to see you at the SBC. Maybe we can get together one day in the future. We will find that steak either in TN or AL. The truth is that the food in either is better than anything they cook in KY. That place is just too close to IN.

Vol, did you notice the awful absence of the smell of football while you were in KY? Boy, I did. I began to smell it a little bit when I got back around Nashville, even though it don't smell really right there. I guess that is because Vandy is just too sweet. But it really got strong when I got back into the SABANATION.

I wish I had been able to get to meet up with Steve while he was over here in the States. I am sure he got to smell that good football smell while he was staying in AL.

Now for a serious moment:
I think this year will be interesting in the SBC. But I think the best thing for us to do is major on serving and glorifying the Lord where He has placed us. That is really the only way there will be a Great Commission Resurgence. Of course, in some places an effort to emphasize the GC was and is already taking place.

I have been reading many of the blogs about the convention since I did not get to go. I just knew that you would spend the bulk of your post on the bad and the ugly parts. You didn't. Thanks. Your remarks are some of the best and most enlightening I have seen.

I have to say david, that photo shot with you guys from the blogs was the most overwhelming moment for me... thank you for making a furrner feel welcome..!!!!
Thank you again.. I found the whole SBC overwhelmiongly wonderful.. even the shameful act turned and bit the proposer, when Bart was overwhelmngly endorsed from the vote from the floor!
It isn't often that someone has this ringing endorsement by the body of the SBC!
