Why do you continue with the name calling? If you are calling me a Landmarkists, then you are entirely wrong, and you've been told that many times. I do not believe that the Southern Baptist Church is the only true Church which can trace her lineage back to Jesus, or even to John the Baptist. I would accept the baptisms of people coming from a Church that was not a Southern Baptist...as long as it was a Church that believed like we do about baptism and salvation. I do not believe that Southern Baptists are the only ones going to Heaven.

So, why do you insist on calling CB and me and others like us "Landmarkists?" Do you even know what a Landmarkists is?

Also, if by "Fundamentalists" you mean someone who believes the fundamentals of the faith, the essentials of the faith, then I will wear that one gladly. But, if you're talking about the extreme, Bob Jones, Sword of the Lord type of fundamentalists... then you are very, very wrong.

There have been genetic markers found by real scientists, not SBC professors, that show that people are predisposed to all kinds of behavior. My point is, it doesn't matter if anyone can prove they are "born" gay or not. What the Bible calls a sin is a sin, plain and simple. There is no excuse we can drum up that will change that.

And for all the enquiring minds, my birthday is tomorrow. I was born in 1969. About halfway done I guess. Or at least halfway to CB's age.

I am not in Oklahoma, my parents are. I am in Texas. And I don't believe for a second that Homosexuals are "born" that way. It has been proven that they may be genetically predisposed to sexually deviant behavior, but that does not make it ok. Doctor's have also proven some people are genetically disposed to being killers, so should we accept them for who they are and just let them be? Don't think so.

And I think we agree on what the Bible says about alcohol consumption. We just disagree on the whole owning a liquor store thing.
