Our world seems to be excited over something that we should all be saddened over. My heart grieves when I hear about people going thru a divorce. My heart aches over the troubles that this is going to cause the two people going thru the divorce, and for what it's going to put all the people who know and love them thru. My heart really aches over the children that may be involved.
So, why does the world seem to be enthralled over the divorce of celebs? Why do they love to see it and read about it? I believe it just shows us the sinful heart of man. Once again, we are given a real life example of the darkness of the human heart that has not had the light of Jesus to shine into it. They love darkness. They love sin. They love to see others hurting. They even make a game out of it.
Does this disturb you, as it does me? We should be praying for Jon and Kate, instead of taking sides. We should be concerned over the welfare of those precious children, rather than be taking polls about it. This is sad.

I am greatly disturbed when any married couple decides to divorce. Especially a couple such Jon & Kate whom the evangelical community has held up as an example of a godly marriage.
We, the evangelical community, need to be careful who we embrace as role models to unbelievers.
